Architecture – construction: Needs a lot of intermediate-level human resources

It is forecasted that each year the architecture – construction and environment industry needs to recruit over 10,000 positions.

Along with the development of the city’s infrastructure and real estate market, the Construction – Architecture – Environment industry is also developing, however, the Construction industry is currently experiencing a shortage of technical and primary vocational human resources.

According to data from the Ministry of Construction, the human resource structure of the industry (ratio of engineers, intermediate professionals, and apprentices) is 1:1, 3:3; meanwhile, in other countries around the world, this ratio is 1:4:10, so in many large projects, there are untrained workers replacing technical workers.

The average annual demand for vacant jobs in the Construction – Architecture – Environment industry is forecasted to be about 10,800 people, accounting for about 4% of the total human resource demand. The demand for trained human resources in the Construction – Architecture – Environment industry accounts for about 85.93%.

Of which, the demand for primary and non-degree level human resources accounts for 32.84%; the demand for intermediate level human resources accounts for about 28.64%; the demand for college level accounts for 13.33%; the demand for university level accounts for 10.38%; the demand for post-graduate level accounts for 0.73%.

Meanwhile, the Service industry includes groups of industries such as: Domestic help; Security services; Restaurant services; Personal services (haircutting, beauty, etc.); Customer care services (direct transactions with customers, telephone answering, etc.).

This is an industry group that tends to develop in the period 2016-2020 to 2025, because the income in this industry is on the rise and is an industry that solves many jobs for unskilled workers and part-time workers.

The average annual demand for vacant jobs in the Service industry is forecasted to be about 27,000 people, accounting for about 10% of the total human resource demand. The demand for trained human resources in the Service industry accounts for about 64.81%.
